Viva Mexico in Boston

Description: The Veronica Robles Cultural Center (VROCC), in collaboration with a group of enthusiastic volunteers, the Consul of Mexico in Boston, Alberto Fierro Garza, and members of the consular team, are planning the Official Fiesta of the Cry of Independence of Mexico in Boston. The event will be held on September 18th in East Boston.

The events will include the civic ceremony with the traditional shout of “Viva Mexico” by the Honorable Consul General of Mexico in Boston, Alberto Fierro. This is the perfect opportunity for everyone to experience the most authentic celebration of the Mexican culture in New England with delicious Mexican food, folk dances, mariachi, a DJ, games, and more. This event is free and all are welcome!

Luminaria Walk on the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway

Description: Come join The Trustees Boston Waterfront Initiative (thetrustees.org/onewaterfront) while we enjoy a stroll down the Greenway in East Boston, listen to festive holiday music, and keep warm with some delicious hot chocolate. This is an event for the whole family to enjoy. We will meet at the Blue Caboose to start our walk, and move as a group as we sing along to festive music. Come celebrate!

Harvest Festival on the Waterfront

Boston Children’s Chorus Placement Session

Revere Block Party at Suffolk Downs

Description: Join us for a cultural celebration at Suffolk Downs from 12pm-7pm on Sunday, August 28th. Next Stop Revere, The City of Revere, Revere Cultural Council and the HYM Investment Group are teaming up to throw the inaugural Revere Block Party. This multicultural event will feature festive live music, authentic performances, cultural cuisines, vendors of all kinds, and family friendly games and activities.

This event is free to attend but registration is recommended.
