Stars Above – An All American Open Air Circus

Description: Stars Above is an outdoor family friendly circus show created by Hideaway Circus. Set to original music, the show is a modern take on the nostalgic small touring circuses from two hundred years ago. This year’s production features brand new acts alongside fan favorites from last season. Hideaway Circus is bringing their traveling open air circus show to Suffolk Downs on Tuesday, August 16th and two shows on Wednesday, August 17th. This is a family friendly show!

Description: Overlooking the harbor from East Boston, join a Latin dance & fitness class that includes traditional dance, acrobatics, and physical expression.

From Colombia’s national dance cumbia, to Brazil’s capoeira, which combines martial art, dance, acrobatics, and music, you’ll dance the afternoon away with breathtaking views of Boston from Piers Park.

Each class is led by a Veronica Robles Cultural Center instructor.

Shipyard Block Party

Description: Admission to the Watershed is FREE / no tickets required to visit the Watershed! Water Shuttle transportation to East Boston, is included with museum admission to the ICA in Seaport but requires a timed Water Shuttle ticket.

Spend the day in the East Boston Shipyard and Marina for an afternoon of art, music, games, local libations, and food. Plus, explore the new exhibition at ICA Watershed, Revival: Materials and Monumental Forms.

Maritime Beach Festival 2022

Description: One of the most special events on the waterfront is back for a 4th year – Harborkeepers’ Maritime Festival, in collaboration with the US Coast Guard Boston, DCR, Porrazzo Skating Rink and (and many others!) brings the Community a wide range of interactive maritime activities: a Coast Guard patrol boat on a trailer to climb on, a Zamboni, mounted horses, a pirate, an amazing ground kite display, live DJ music, the refreshing MWRA water truck, and this year an opportunity to learn SCUBA and many more unique activities all in one beautiful waterfront space – Constitution Beach! Save the Date and hope to see you there!
